| The Worcester Authority Lantern was designed around a traditional
style of lantern that bridged the gap between the ornate Victorian/Georgian styling and
more contemporary designs. Its build quality had to be of such a standard that would be
able to cope with and endure the modern day environment and the high demands placed upon a
street lighting luminaire today. The design brief demanded a lantern that was robust,
simple to maintain, efficient, flexible and styled in such a way as to replicate the
design of the original lanterns. The demands and needs of both public and private sectors
for a vandal resistant, decorative traditional luminaire that satisfied the scrutiny of
the conservationists demands that are comfortably met by the Worcester Authority lantern. Construction IP66 Tested & Certified by BSI Single piece Gravity Die-cast Aluminium Body Frame. Single piece Heavy Gauge Aluminium Spinning Hood, hinged with Gas Strut support for open position. UV Stabilised, vacuum formed, single piece Polycarbonate Glazing Box. Cast Aluminium frog assembly. Aluminium spinning pinnacle assembly. |
